In June 2004, four guys (including members of Papier Tigre, Room 204 and This Melodramatic Sauna) decided to kill time by starting a new project.

Nourished by a drive for thrashing, ARGUMENT came to life.Just a few months after its creation, the band recorded its first album with the help of Miguel Constantino (Passe Montagne, Sincabeza) and was soon sharing the stage with bands like Ex Models and Haymarket Riot. 

They discretly recorded 6 tracks in 2006 and almost became silent. "Schweiss" will only see the light in 2009. 

Equally as precise and energetic on their album as on stage, the group has created its own characteristic sonic universe.

The rhythm section stands as the pillar that supports the polished, incisive guitar and the shrieking vocals. ARGUMENT's powerful sound harkens back to the ghosts of old-school Chicago bands like the Jesus Lizard, Dazzling Killmen and Rapeman....
